Celebrating Excellence: Forrest Sanders Honored by MTSU
A big congratulations to Forrest Sanders, a standout reporter with WTVF, on receiving
a well-deserved Hall of Fame honor from Middle Tennessee State University. Forrest is not just a great journalist and an awesome storyteller — but a great person as well.
A few years ago he covered by littering and illegal dumping legislation. Many thanks to Rutherford County commission and especially Commissioenr Anthony Johnson for staying on my to help try and stop the increase of illegal dumping in our community.
A proud MTSU graduate, Sanders has built an incredible career in journalism, earning national recognition for his storytelling and more than 40 Emmy Awards along the way.
His work consistently highlights the heart of Middle Tennessee—telling powerful, human-centered stories that resonate across our communities.
