Community Invited to Celebrate New Prevention Coalition for Success Office
Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Today at Noon
MURFREESBORO, TN – The community is invited to join Prevention Coalition for Success (PC4S) today, Tuesday, December 2nd, at noon for a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating their new office location at 630 Broadmor Blvd., Suite 130, Murfreesboro, TN 37129.
This milestone marks an important step forward for an organization dedicated to connecting and empowering communities through education and advocacy to sustainably improve mental health and prevent substance misuse across Rutherford County.

A Mission Rooted in Community Health

Prevention Coalition for Success aims to create a healthier community for both youth and adults by reducing substance abuse through addressing risk factors and equipping the community with knowledge and support. Their comprehensive approach brings together communities, agencies, and government partners to develop evidence-based strategies that make a real difference.
“We believe in a public health approach—what we, as a society, do collectively to assure the conditions for people to be healthy,” says the organization’s leadership. This philosophy drives their multi-sector collaboration and environmental change strategies that focus on transforming community conditions, standards, and policies to reduce substance misuse rates among youth.
Programs Making an Impact
PC4S operates several vital programs serving Rutherford County residents:
Family Preservation Initiative works to prevent or reduce justice system involvement for youth with behavioral or mental health needs by coordinating customized resources and developing family-centered plans that celebrate successes and mitigate trauma.
Lifeline Peer Project breaks down stigma surrounding substance use disorder and mental health through education, evidence-informed training, and connecting individuals to the behavioral healthcare system.
Faith-Based Regional Coordinator Program partners with faith-based organizations to certify Recovery Congregations, equipping them to serve those struggling with addiction while reducing stigma and increasing understanding.
First Responder Resource Engagement Specialty Team (R.E.S.T.) provides crucial education, resources, and care coordination for first responders who are often the primary intervention point for individuals experiencing substance use disorder or overdose.
Powered by Partnership
The success of PC4S is built on strong community partnerships including Middle Tennessee State University, Rutherford County Health Department, St. Thomas Rutherford, local law enforcement agencies, Rutherford County Schools, Murfreesboro City Schools, Boys and Girls Club, United Way of Rutherford & Cannon Counties, and many more community organizations.
“Our community partners make this work possible,” the organization emphasizes. “We invite people like you to join us in this important mission.”
