Susan Gulley named Rutherford County cultural director

The Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce has hired Susan Gulley as its director of cultural and heritage tourism.

The position was previously held by the late Dr. Ginna Foster Cannon at the Rutherford County Convention & Visitors Bureau.

“I am thankful for this opportunity and look forward to representing a county that has so many cultural and heritage experiences,” Gulley said.

Gulley, an already active member of the arts community, will begin her new job on March 16.

Gulley comes to the CVB from Carpe Artista, an arts education nonprofit in Smyrna.
