The City of La Vergne is gearing up for one of its most beloved annual traditions—the La Vergne Fall Festival & Parade—scheduled for Saturday, September 20, 2025. This community celebration promises a day filled with entertainment, local vendors, delicious food, and activities for the whole family.
”As Mayor of La Vergne, I want to welcome everyone to our annual Fall Festival!
This is a fantastic day for our community to come together, celebrate the season, and enjoy all the fun and entertainment we have planned. From the parade to the local vendors, great food, and music, there’s something for everyone. I’m so proud of our city and the spirit that makes La Vergne a wonderful place to live, work, and play. Thank you for being a part of this special day, said Mayor Jason Cole.
Parade Kicks Off the Festivities
The day begins with the much-anticipated parade, featuring local organizations, businesses, and community groups. Parade participants should arrive at La Vergne City Hall (5093 Murfreesboro Road) by 8:00 a.m. for lineup, with the procession officially starting at 10:00 a.m.
The parade route will wind through the community before concluding at Veterans Memorial Park (115 Floyd Mayfield Drive), where the festival portion of the event will immediately begin.
“It’s always a fun time and it was announced tonight over 50 vendors plus so many activities, not to mention the parade that people especially the kids enjoy, everyone please pray for good weather,” said Vice Mayor Steve Noe.
”It’s hard to believe the celebration began in 1975–50 years ago. This is truly an honor for me to invited to serve as the grand marshal for the parade and following celebrations. It was 1975 that I originally organized the parade, carrying La Vergne Mayor Vester Waldron, and today, 50-year years later. The Old Timers Day Parade, now La Vergne Fall Festival has always been a great event that brought folks together. It’s a testament to the leadership and residents of this beautiful city,” said historian Marty Luffman.
