Former presidential candidate Herman Cain has died

Herman Cain, the former GOP presidential candidate has passed away. Cain’s official website and the conservative website Newsmax said on Thursday. He was 74.

 

 

 

Cain, with his strong baritone voice and natural showman’s style was a very popular  character in and around American politics and conservative and even liberal media.

According to
Business Insider, “Cain, who recently joined Newsmax TV and was set to launch a weekly show, died in an Atlanta-area hospital where he had been critically ill for several weeks,” the conservative website Newsmax reported on Thursday. “He was admitted on July 1, two days after being diagnosed with COVID-19.”

Throughout Cain’s lifetime he had reinvented himself several times from being over his lifetime: computer analyst, millionaire business executive, political lobbyist, broadcaster, motivational speaker, author and presidential candidate, among others.

 

Cain had been hospitalized since July 1 after traveling to multiple places in June.
