Nashville Mayor Cooper advocates for Property Tax Hike in first State of Metro Address

NASHVILLE, TENN – Nashville Mayor John Cooper spoke before an empty audience during his first State of Metro address Tuesday that he will ask for an increased property tax rate. Nashville has seen some tough times with the recent tornadoes and currently the coronavirus.

 

 

Mayor Cooper said that Nashville’s tax-rate will remain lower than other major Tennessee cities.
