Allen Jackson Courageous Faith, ‘LET’S GET STARTED’

DAY 110

“Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.”
How much attention do you give to reading the Bible? Personally, I intend to read my Bible every day—not just when I’m in the mood or when it’s convenient—and I’m not going to read it randonlyrandomly. I’m not going to open it and read whever my finger falls. I’m going to read it intentionally so that my mind will be focused on it.
If we spend more time listening to sports talk than we do with the Word of God, that’s where our hearts will be. If we follow the finanial markets and spend more time with them than we do with the Word of God, that’s what we will meditate on.
Bible reading is a simple practice that reaps profound and transformational benefits in your life.
If you spend about fifteen minutes a day reading the Bible, you’ll read through the whole thing in a year.

Don’t worry about what day of the yerar you begin reading—just get started and see what the Lord will show you over the next 365 days!

Because the Word of God is living, it is continually relevant. It is the only book that ”reads” you while you are reading it. Don’t miss out on the hope, insight correctioon and encouragement it can give you.
