Governor Lee And Tennessee Tourism To Announce Record-Breaking Economic Impact

Governor Bill Lee and Commissioner Mark Ezell, of the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development, will announce tourism’s record-breaking economic impact in the state of Tennessee on Tuesday, Aug. 6 at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville at 10:30 a.m. CT.

“The latest statistics from the U.S. Travel Association and D.K. Shifflet & Associates reveal Tennessee is outpacing the nation across all segments of travel. Tourism is a powerful economic development tool to increase local revenues and job opportunities,” officials said.
The announcement will be held inside the Ford Theater at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.  Parking is available at Music City Center.
