Latinos for Tennessee Host Sen. Marsha Blackburn on Conference Call with Latino Faith Leaders
(Nashville, Tennessee) – Today, Latinos for Tennessee, an organization committed to promoting faith, family, freedom and fiscal responsibility, hosted a conference call with U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn.
On the call, Latino faith leaders from all across the state had an opportunity to hear directly from Tennessee’s junior senator on how she is supporting policies to promote economic opportunity, fight for the unborn and provide much needed relief to Tennesseans struggling because of COVID-19.
Raul Lopez, executive director of Latinos for Tennessee, said:
“For years, Sen. Marsha Blackburn has consistently defended religious freedom and the sanctity of all life in the U.S. Congress. Now more than ever, we are fortunate to have her in Washington to ensure that we can come out of this global pandemic stronger than we were going in. We thank Sen. Blackburn from taking time out of her busy schedule to talk directly with Latino faith leaders who are looking for principled leadership from our elected officials.”
Lopez went on to say:
“We look forward to doing our part to ensure that every single Latino living in Tennessee feels empowered to participate in our democratic government.”
