We are all very familiar with the onslaught of ‘FAKE NEWS‘ now, but I bet you didn’t know that ‘fake news‘ has been going on for a long time.
Two examples are included in this morning’s post about how ‘fake news’ literally changed our world. Now, keep in mind, there was NO social media during these times, and yet…..
As you probably know it was the fight against the proposed Equal Rights Amendment that introduced me to the whole world of public policy and politics. That was during the height of the ‘feminist movement’ when, despite what they were saying, their goal of passing the ERA would have taken away some important protections that women had and would have hurt women in the long run.
I never will forget their stated effort to REMOVE the ability of women who were full time homemakers to receive Social Security based on their husband’s work history. They said that the only way women should received Social Security was if the woman got out of the home, got a job and earned that benefit.
I am so glad to see Sue Ellen Browder exposing what she (and many others) did to change and shape our nation.
Bernard Nathanson, MD was another one. He was one of the top abortionist in the nation. When he literally ‘saw the Light’, he wrote several books, where he admitted to lying about, among other things, the ‘back street abortions’, how many there were and how many women died from them.

“I did not realize what a traumatic experience that would be later in my life, how much that would haunt me.”
“When you start betraying the truth, it will come back to haunt you,” she says. “It will get you in the end. And that’s why even though I knew we were making up stories, I still got sucked in and thought abortion would be OK.”
